What's the advantage of being in a different timezone, if I *still* have to wait for news? Usually, I get to miss them, and don't have to wait for them, but now I'm going to do both.
Because, of course, Jess and Fone Bone's baby is all about meMeME. Clearly.
In other, a little less self-centered news, since I don't know when I'll get to be near a computer again until after the weekend (I hope I will, but just in case), I'll post already that according to the Buffista Calendar, Saturday, the 16th, will be askye's birthday, and send her already early wishes for a great day and a wonderful year.
Kitty-travel-ma for Raq's travelling diplocat, and regular kitty-kidney-ma for Teddy today.
It's a sign of how foggy my brain is this morning that I can't remember what the word is for when you rearrange the letters in one word to form another word....
Or perhaps I shall have a friend do it and pretend it's Warrick from CSI. Whatever.
This! Choose this!
That ancestry thingie is so cool; I'm going to be all nosy about Theo and ita's experience with it, because I totally want to do it.
And, I'm off.
Anagram?
An anagram of a word is the word spelled backwards, right?
The anagram of anagram is margana.
eta: Nope, I'm thinking of palindrome. Obviously I have not had my enieffac.
Not necessarily spelled backwards - just with the letters rearranged.
Although I think a palindrome is usually a phrase - "Madam I'm Adam", "Able Was I Ere I Saw Elba", "A Man, A Plan, A Canal, Panama" and so on.
Note that I didn't even bother to google until
after
I posted that. Because I am secure enough that I don't care if I look like an idiot. Or something.

I was thinking of the Montey Python sketch. But yeah, in the sketch one of the characters says it doesn't work:
C: Well, I wish to complain. I got on the Bolton train and found myself deposited here in Ipswitch.
A: No, this is Bolton.
C: (to the camera) The pet shop man's brother was lying!!
A: Can't blame British Rail for that.
C: In that case, I shall return to the pet shop!
He does.
C: I understand this IS Bolton.
O: (still with the fake mustache) Yes?
C: You told me it was Ipswitch!
O: ...It was a pun.
C: (pause) A PUN?!?
O: No, no...not a pun...What's that thing that spells the same backwards as forwards?
C: (Long pause) A palindrome...?
O: Yeah, that's it!
C: It's not a palindrome! The palindrome of "Bolton" would be "Notlob"!! It don't work!!
