We can come by between classes. Usually I use that time to copy over my class notes with a system of different colored pens. But it's been pointed out to me that that's, you know...insane.

Punishingly Intricate

On another subject, Hubs has asked me to ask the DCistas to recommend a vet for a second opinion for Teddy. He wants to talk to another vet to be sure there isn't anything Teddy's vets haven't already thought of.

Fred, I love my vet up here (it's sarameg's vet also, btw) but I don't know if they'd do a phone consult or you'd actually have to bring him in. But if you want the number let me know.

I have a question for NYistas, do any of you do yoga? Do you have a yoga studio that you'd recommend? My yoga teacher friend and I are going up there next weekend and want to take a class somewhere.

Art Crawl!!!

Jericho is coming back (in repeats) on July 6th.

According to the Futon Critic CBS will air Jericho starting with the "Return to Jericho" recap and continuing with all the episodes from the second half of the season, i.e., when the show improved.

Unfortunately, it's airing at the same time as Doctor Who (I think) - well, Fridays at 9 Eastern.

Ann, that's a ferret.

I'd be interested in the number, lisa, but you're in Baltimore, correct? I wouldn't like to subject Teddy to such a long drive.

A little more background that I may not have mentioned -- we've took him to a specialist already. And the regular vet is consulting with the specialist regularly. I'm torn between wanting to do everything possible and fearing that we already are. If it's the latter, I don't want to feed Hubs's denial.

Anyway, I ended up being at the clinic for 6 1/2 hours.

Okay, ew. That kind of sucks, Tom. Although now you have me wondering how blind I am based on the Snellen chart. I know my numerical prescription in diopters.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Fred, I am in Baltimore. It can't hurt to give them a call and see if the vet will at least be able to talk to you (I wouldn't want to subject the cat to a long drive either). It's 410-367-8111.

Aww, sorry Fred. I'm no help, I"m afraid.

Tom! Eep! Lasers! In your EYE! Hope it helped, cause it sounds freaky.

eah, I don't know -- she's pretty much a bad-ass dyke. But pretty!

Yeahhhh...she's kinda hot. Except in how she's CRAZY. And a BITCH. OMG. I've seen like, two episodes of the show ever, and wanted to kill her. And it was two episodes that had nothing to do with her business--one she went on a date (only she was still sorta dating her girlfriend?? and told the date girl??) and one she went home to her family. Crazy.

Okay, but seriously, her girlfriend was fucking insane. Assuming it's the first-season girlfriend.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bah. I'm seeing hundreds of little tiny dots floating in front of my left eye. But on the positive side, I only see them when I'm looking at something bright. Like, say, a computer monitor.

I'm assuming they'll eventually go away.

Oh well - I can still more or less read the monitor. Worse case scenario I have to wear the eye patch again. (Arrr!)
