I'm too cheap. We may not have that exact tasty stuff at home, but we do have tasty stuff aplenty. And there's Father's Day and a crazy mess of birthdays coming up before the end of the month.
Say! You could always get me soup for my birthday! That'd be made of awesome!
The Zmayhems are making me think about calling into the Uzbeki restaurant for some soup and Spicy Carrot to pick up on the way home.

I love it when the food discussion comes around. Unsurprisingly, I like spice. Lots of it, but not so much that it burns away all the flavor. Mostly, I try pretty much anything once. My grandparents were good about exposing us to lots of stuff. One of my favorite breakfasts was my grandaddy's tamales with fresh honey.
Ooh, that sounds good.
Feh--the Uzbeki place is closed on Mondays. Oh, well, I can save the $10.

I will totally get you birthday soup.
Aw. Sweet.
Birthday Soup is an excellent title for a children's book.

I don't even need the food coloring. I've got zillions of those things on my tongue. I always thought I was a supertaster -- I can't do anything too spicy, and grapefruit and coffee make me cringe.
