The article I just read pointed out that they let her out for her "health issue," not overcrowding, so it sounds like just bad decision upon bad decision
Yup her doctor said she was going to have a nervous breakdown if she had to serve her whole sentence.

I'm pretty sure that was the cover story. They thought it would play better in the media than, "Actually, we release people all the time. We don't like to talk about it but it happens 12 times a day."
I dunno. They (the sheriff) allowed her to go home - can't really blame her for accepting it.
Yeah but the pressure to get out was coming from her. She should have sucked it up and done her time.
Was I the only one surprised by the revelation that Paris Hilton actually drives herself anywhere ever?
signed, still thinks OJ should have up for the death penalty

Yeah, I'm sure her people had nothing to do with that.
My severely schizophrenic brother had to spend TWO WHOLE YEARS in PRISON (not county jail) for repeat DUI's and driving while suspended.
Cashmere, I was thinking of your brother yesterday when the news broke about her getting released because of her "medical" condition. And thinking about all the people in prison who can't get treatment for their actual life-threatening illnesses. rage-inducing.
They (the sheriff) allowed her to go home - can't really blame her for accepting it.
Yeah, would you really expect her to say 'no'? She may be a whiny moron but, yeah, it's the sheriff's office that is the big fuck ups in this situation.

Wouldn't it be great to have somebody drive you around at any time, where ever you wanted to go? It's a dream for me. No more driving around town, worrying about traffic. I could just sit in the back and read or nap or anything... ahhhhhh
My co-worker and I were just down in the deli/vending machine area of our building, which has a TV in it that's always on. FOX News was on, and their "Breaking News Alert" (yes, they used the word "alert") was P. Hil's return to jail.
They had it as a split-screen, with one half being a helicopter view of traffic (I assume following the P. Hil convoy), and the other half being Neil Cavuto's show -- with Ann Coulter commenting on how wrong it was that P. Hil had to go to jail.
Ann Coulter was wearing a cross, which surprised me, because I thought such things would make her burst into flame.
Maybe she
likes
driving.
Of course, once her license was suspended, that's a stupid reason to keep on driving herself. I mean, it's at least understandable (if still wrong) if a person needs to drive to work and their license is suspended....

I don't really like being driven (signed, Control Freak) also I am more likely to get car sick when I'm not the driver.
Having a driver on call when I want one would be pretty sweet though.
