Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Oh, well, um... that would be a 'duh' on my part....

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

And, um, me too.

Warren Ellis posted this bizarre picture, asking what it is: [link]

It appears to be a scene from a movie where some cephalopods are crucifying some humans....

edit to fix link

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Just had a contractually obligated parent event at school. @@. Someone to please help me find the zen in my work situation. At this point, the work situation is so much more unbearable then the rest of my life.

Today's video moment of Japanese surrealism

From the great Japanese video blog TV in Japan comes this bizarre clip from the 1977 horror flick Hausu, featuring a carnivorous piano. No, really. Watch and see (YouTube link).

This is one of the more bizarre/trippy things I've seen....

The Housewife Tarot is fantastic. But I'm sucker for all of the repro 50s stuff.

Anything for a weird life.

When I see tommy's cephalopod link, my brain starts whistling "Always Look On the Bright Side of Life." Anyone else have this problem, or just me?

also, why does firefox not recognize cephalopod as a word?

also also, StolenCubicle says "Tell the Buffistas [I've] gone native," and that lj is speaking to her in Russian. Perhaps she thinks you'll get something out of this? I certainly don't.
