Heh. I should ask my brother what he put down. (He also is a donor. Which, I have to admit, kinda gave me pause at first. Just..genetic aunt to someone I'll never know when I so love aunthood. Then I figured there are plenty of good potential aunts out there waiting for their chance. ) And oh goodness, if personality has a genetic component...um.

Um, Kat, if you ever hear me singing Mining for Gold to your kids, I apologize to your ears.

Hil, thank you. Also, that's hilarious and worrisome. Little brother of friend? born hacker!

No need to apologize. I can't sing for shit. But I frankly don't care. One of the nurses in the NICU has the most beautiful voice. She was trying to calm down the crying baby in the next crib over one day (the one without a gut, who has reason to cry, I tell you what). The nurse sang for a couple hours straight.

ETA: Who am I kidding? That tag never closes. Plus, it's nice to hear someone still sings these songs.

on y danse? I swear I learned it as on le danse, but y makes so much more sense.

Now tagless for your comfort.

I totally love that song! My high school French teacher was awesome and would sing it! I sing it to my kids, too.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Ooh, in my head I've been saying something like "lonny danse," so I'm glad to see that's close.

When I was in high school, we went to France and got a big kick out of singing that song when we visited Avignon. Dorks, even then.

I have two shallow Top Chef comments: I forgot how hot Sam is with the haircut, and Ted should get a hair consultation from Kyan or someone, because what's up with his hair?

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

you, know, kids like songs, singing, rhythm even when i 'sing'. and if you really want children's songs... they exist everywhere and changing the words is always acceptable

the waves on the beach go in and out...in and out.....

BTW, kat, you sound just like you - you just have a new subject- babies! and occupational therapist is one of those titles I have to think about.

and in exciting news about me- I had a mushroom swiss cheese scramble for dinner. yummy
