That's what logic tells me, but the second one just looks weird to me.

He's training to train his moms.
That's gotta be fun to describe at cocktail parties: I'm an occupational therapist for the NICU babies....
When I ran out of children's songs when the kids were babies, I used to sing the themes to the Brady Bunch and Gilligan's Island and Cheers.
As they get bigger you might want to put them into some of those display outfits, though frankly there's something to be said about long sleeved footie pajamas all day.
When Lillian was little, she lived in plain white Onesies and occasionally jeans when I wanted to tell people her drag king name was Liam.
My kids wore clothes from 9-12 today. Then, nekkid or diapers only. I love summer. I have kept them in footie pj's all day during winter.
Cash, that scares me because that's my future. As bad as things seem right now, at least they aren't completely mobile.
Maybe they'll be well-behaved, placid, non-destructive toddlers.
What?
It could happen.
Bwhahahahahaha.

This is great! I'm all about onesies. It'll be hot enough here that onesies are about all they can handle.
But I have acquired some adorable cowboy themed clothes for Noah (and seriously? could anyone look LESS like a cowboy than Noah?) and some cute flamingo stuff for Grace.
Is it hampdenfest this weekend, sara?
It's either that or Honfest. I wasn't paying attention.
OK, so I can't sing for shit. But with Miss P, she loved singing. So she got lots of rounds of the Cowboy Junkies Mining for Gold. Yay asbestos lung disease? Hey, it's worked with all the babies I've cared for.
She also got parts of the plucking song in french. Je t'ai plumerai! Plumerai la tete! Alouette! Je t'ai plumerai! (spelling suspect.)
She's not too demented.
Maybe they'll be well-behaved, placid, non-destructive toddlers.
oh this is so unlikely.
Related: I finally got the long profile of the donor we used. His answer to why are you doing this was fantastic: "Frankly, the compensation helps me to pay for my daily expenses."
There was more about helping people start a new family, but the honesty was refreshing.
I love that song about the bird! Also "Sur le pont d'avignon, on le danse on le danse! Sur le pont d'avignon on le danse tous en rond."
Kat, I was just looking through your flickr album, and both kids are gorgeous. Grace has got beautiful eyes, and Noah's sticking-up hair is adorable.
My favorite toddler+computer story is the litte brother of a friend of mine from high school. When he was about 2, he started banging on the keyboard of their computer, and somehow managed to set up a macro so that, when someone was typing, each time they pressed the letter z, the last two lines of text would be deleted. This was discovered when his oldest sister was typing a term paper.
Heh. I should ask my brother what he put down. (He also is a donor. Which, I have to admit, kinda gave me pause at first. Just..genetic aunt to someone I'll never know when I so love aunthood. Then I figured there are plenty of good potential aunts out there waiting for their chance. ) And oh goodness, if personality has a genetic component...um.
Um, Kat, if you ever hear me singing Mining for Gold to your kids, I apologize to your ears.
