"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

People? Suck.

yes, like the guy who saw me standing outside of my partner's office (wearing a suit and hose) waiting for her to finish a meeting and tried to hand me a document saying "I need 5 copies of this". I simply said "the copier's down the hall to the right, but I'm sure if you wait a moment, one of the admins can help you" he just stood there, confused until the partner he was meeting with came out of the office and said "oh, have you met Stephanie, she's one of our new associates". He at least looked a bit chagrined.

so, I just checked my messages and it was the condo people wanting to verify my address so that they can send settlement letters. meep.

It spoiled me ROTTEN.

We like Kristen spoiled rotten, oh yes we do.

ita, here's to an ER visit at the most convenient time. It feels really weird wishing that for someone. Gotta be even weirder to be that person.

And Vortex property!

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Our wings are not tired.

Hey, it's a plan. But damn, I don't know whether to wish an ER visit sooner or later. Also, so pleased I clicked that particular ita link.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Having a plan = very good.

ION, I just burned myself on a roasting pan containing a Thanksgiving turkey breast in June. I hope Cook's Illustrated is pleased with itself. (Unfortunately, I think the roasting pan I'm using is way too big for this recipe -- it's sized for an entire turkey, not just a breast. But it's also the only one I have with a V-rack, so it's not like I had a choice.)

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I hope it's not a bad burn, Jess.

Yay for Condo ownership!

Trust my rage

Vortex, does that mean you got the/a new job? Sorry if I missed it earlier - I skim pretty seriously in this thread.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Hey, it's a plan. But damn, I don't know whether to wish an ER visit sooner or later.

That.

So, when I opened my mailbox just now, a little box came flying out. Huh? I didn't order anything... But then I saw the return address was "Direct Mail Chocolates," and I remembered! Yesterday was my 1yr anniversary at work, and they send chocolates! I think that's a really nice thing -- no big whoop, but a little pleasant surprise.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

So, when I opened my mailbox just now, a little box came flying out.

I blame my mental picture of this on the fact that I've been re-reading Harry Potter books.
