Art Crawl!!!

I wonder if Harold will be wearing his pencil. I hope so.

Of course! It's his lucky pencil.

How can Marcel defeat Ilan? They're in the same season!

Thrive to spite them

The dress code here is business casual. Most days the men wear shirts and ties or polo shirts and slacks. Occasionally if there's a big meeting they men will wear jackets. Sleeveless tops on women where the whole shoulder is covered seems to be okay without something over it, but I wouldn't feel comfortable wearing that.

Women can wear denim skirts on Fridays, no one can wear jeans. That is not the policy for the entire organization, but our Department Head feels denim is too casual looking and so no denim on Fridays, although other departments (which are not in this building) are allowed.

Currently I'm wearing a crochet sweater with a cami underneath, brown slacks, and wedge sandals.

We also have comapny polo shirts we can wear any day. Hose are not required at all.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

When Romer was in charge of LAUSD he tried to encourage all female teachers to wear hose, even with pants and all men to wear ties.

Dude. Whatever... not gonna happen.

I get wigged out that people wear flip flops to teach in. Too casual.

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

I wouldn't work anywhere that required hose in Texas in the summer. That's abuse. Also anywhere where big boobs/little boobs change the dress code. I will not wear a mumu or look sloppy or have a uniboob for any job. Plus, it points to other issues I probably won't like. Right now I work with almost all women and both of my immediate bosses are women. We probably dress nicer in this office than in most, but for the most part it's "don't look like you're going clubbing or slounging around the house in your jammies and we're cool."

I look more rad than Lutheranism

is flinging a human 100 ft with a trebuchet an obviously bad idea?

It's not the thing you fling; it's the fling itself.

Damn it! So much for wearing a skirt tomorrow.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Tonight's the All Star episode! Season 1 v. Season 2. I wonder if Harold will be wearing his pencil. I hope so.

YAY.

Plus, it points to other issues I probably won't like.

That's what's behind my dislike of a skirt requirement.

I'm not sure I could do a company that required skirt and hose. If they allowed pants, maybe. But I have a feeling if they were really super strict about their dress code, I might not wanna work there for other reasons too.

A burqa for work would be great, just throw it on every day and no one knows or cares what you're wearing underneath! As long as I could wear jeans everywhere else...

(My current office is business casual, but we definitely have people who are more casual adn people who are more business. We're not supposed to wear jeans on Fridays, but people do)

I am supposed to dress up more when I'm at a client site (even if they're in scrubs), but usually that just means not the more schlubby "I need to do laundry" outfits that I only occasionally wear to work. I am wearing a dress today, and heels...but could use hose or tights, it's FREEEEZING!
