No. And yes. It's always sudden.

Thrive to spite them

Theo, I pay $417.18 for a "non group plan" with my HMO right now. My temp agency's insurance doesn't cover mental health so it's useless to me, so I'm still paying as a "non group". It looks like they can't get the approval to make my job permenent here so I'll be looking for another job specifically for benefits.

Crap. That's only going to encourage people in the future, isn't it?

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

To say this would be a huge victory for crazy TV fans everywhere would be the understatement of the frakkin' millennium.

Heh. Or meh. Not my show, in any case.

Art Crawl!!!

I'd be happy to see 8 more episodes of Jericho to tidy up storylines and create some sort of ending.

Also - unsuccessful shows on major networks have lots more viewers/crazy fans than unsuccessful shows on, say, the CW or SciFi.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

That sucks, askye -- that job's been good for you. But so is getting better benefits and a long-term happy niche, too.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee! Congrats, Robin! I am envious of your biblical perfection! Ha. I've never said that to anyone before.

But, also, many many thanks to Daisy! Because although my credit score is not perfect, it is much better, thanks to her excellent advice, and I am much more educated and confident going into our loan application process.

I am also shaky and excited, because I just sent the SO off to the planning & zoning office, and I am proud of myself because I actually knew where all the relevant and necessary documents were.

Also, hee, about the nuts. And you know which nuts I mean.
