Or to keep them JenP-free?? Yeah, probably not. But still.

Hell's Kitchen is a secret vice. At least I missed the opener. I don't usually get hooked until the end where I hate everyone.

State's rights make for funny marriage law. It's easy to forget how much that plays a role in law, even as it was drummed into my head in US history and well, history. It's a big deal (which I'm reminded of with the whole abortion thing. Then, it tends to freak me the hell out.) It can be an interesting country.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I tried to watch Hell's Kitchen last season, but when it looked like he was going to make them either eat or cook out of a dumpster, I had to change the channel. It was too watch from the hall for me.

We just finished watching NFNS. It looks like there are some interesting personalities this season, and the seem to be stealing challenges from Top Chef.

Art Crawl!!!

NFNS - I think that the challenges stolen from TC are what I like about this season. Well, that and Robert Irvine. Some folks at TWOP were suggesting that perhaps he'd be back -- like a mastiff-form Tim Gunn but my guess was that he was just there for the challenge based on his show. Which is too bad because I liked his input.

The Riches: I thought that's what Dale was going to do ! Next season should be interesting.

sumi on NFNS: I would love Robert Irvine to stay too, but I got the impression that he was there mainly to see that they didn't frell up the wedding too much. He mentioned once that he may have to jump in if things got bad. I liked how Bobby Flay helped out when things got disorganized and that the importance seemed to be on making the wedding nice for everyone and not focusing solely on the challenge.

LAST DAY OF CLASSES!
Me too! Not of students, though. I still have all my exams to give tomorrow and a whole helluva a lot of end of year grading/comment-writing for the next week. Then, next week?

I have Professional Development, which is normally fine since I enjoy my profession, but this week I would rather eat my own eyeballs on toast.

This. So very much this.

AM jealous of both Erin and Kristin. I have 4 more weeks to go.

But did you get two months off this winter (not for babies, obviously, but earlier)? I was soooo jealous of you then. But yeah, I'm pretty happy about the end being in sight. This is the first summer that I am not making a major move since 2004. Seriously, really ready for a non-major-life-changing summer.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica
