Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Thinking good thoughts for that last 25% of your beloveds, juliana.
And bundles of ~ma to you, MM, though I don't know that my job~ma is good for much.
And now, baby in bed, Craigslist combed through and all good postings emailed to my work addy, pjs on, threads all caught up, and so to bed. Mwah to everyone.
juliana, I hope you hear from the rest of your friends very soon. That goes for anyone else with friends or family there.
Much ~ma to the city of Minneapolis.
Joe, lots of job~ma for you.
All kinds of job~ma for you, MM.
Cramps are ebil. EBIL.
Gah, can't watch the news, yet can't not check on updates.
MM, what they said about judiciously choosing the time of slaying your prospective employers.
Which might have been in another thread, but it's been a home office of a day.
People who don't listen are on my list, as are people who don't know what's supposed to be obvious.
Also, I'm on my list, because I need to not let this get to me so much.
Screamin' Jay Hawkins isn't on my list though, by virtue of nothing more than "Bite It." Can't hate on that.
I need to go tune up my LJ "cranky" icon. What I have now just isn't cutting it.
Apparently my nephew Chris, the one who went to Iraq and has since come back, often goes running on the river road that threads under the bridge that collapsed.
His mother, my sister, did not know this until after the collapse when he told her.
She has a good case of retroactive jitters.
I went looking at LOLCats to get my mind off the I-35W collapse and somehow found this:
The LOLCat of Death?
Natter was nattering about the LOLCat of Death eariler. Freaks me right out.
I was horrified at the I-35W collapse. So awful.
Tons of job~ma to MM.
Woo hoo to Robin & DH!
In meme news, I feel like crap. I made it 26 hours on a liquid fast, got a massive headache, and broke down and had a bowl of soup. This shouldn't feel like failure, but it does. Dammit.
It may not sound like much, but those liquid fasts--well, any sort, really--give me headaches. And did, even before the migraines got this bad.
Apparently that's standard, but I was never willing to power through to the end for all the supposed benefits. It's pain. Avoiding it makes sense. Hell, I should be that sensible more often. Don't judge yourself.
Thanks, ita. My friend Sara did a seven-day water fast last month, and she raved about the benefits. I've been wanting to try it (though I was shooting for fewer days and with more than just water for liquids), but I wasn't expecting this level of pain. Ah well. A little soup and some sinus pills should kick this headache down to sleepable size, I hope.
I don't know if it's worth trying again tomorrow. Do all of the benefits of "cleansing" go away once you've broken the fast?
