Spike: At least give me Wesley's office since he's gone. Angel: He's not gone. He's on a leave of absence. Spike: Yeah, right. Boo-hoo. Thought he killed his bloody father. Try staking your mother when she's coming on to you! Harmony: Well…that explains a lot.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Mostly lurking...

My poor parents lost three trees today, after one fell on their garage [link] They called public works, tree division, and learned that three of the trees in their yard had been eaten to sponge-likeness by carpenter ants. I feel so badly for them.

omnis, pursue. That's an order from a shy woman who can use M-16. - Shir

Right now put it in the guest room and close the door.
Just leave a path for me to get from bed to bathroom, and I'm good.

After that, hopefully I'll be home around 9:30-10ish. Burnout Revenge LIVE? Nothing calms the nerves like crash racing :)

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Omnis, no worries. I found homes for the placemats and such and am going to hang up the rest of the odds and ends in the closet. As long as you don't need the closet, you should be good.

Thrive to spite them

I found out that I have to go through some steps in order to register for a class because of my low GPA. Basically I have to fill out some papers with questions for advising, then fill out some web forms, then see an advisor, which I won't be able to do until Monday.

I also looked at the number of hours I've completed and it's not as bad as I thought -- I have to complete 37.5. Which is still a big chunk, but I was thinking it was more.

Plus I did two (small) things to help myself get organized and I'm really pleased.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Cash, I'm glad BiL is doing better.

DJ, The Grapevine sounds like my kind of place. And L's soon-to-be ex is a manipulative cheesebutt.

Happy anniversary, Kristin and Drew!

Job~ma to Miracleman.

Frederick is No Way In Hell Am I Driving There.

Hey now. I suppose that means that meara will never come to visit if invited. Hmph.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy Anniversary, Kristin and ND!

Continued lung~ma for Cashmere's BIL!

askye, did you get your tongs back? As a veteran of dropping things in inaccessible places, I recommend a flattened-out wire coathanger. If it isn't long enough, you can use pliers to uncurl the end from around itself and straighten it out all the way. Sweep it back there and you'll pick 'em right up.

Hah! OK, how about "No Way In Hell Am I Driving There On a Daily Basis". Does that help?

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Emmett's kind of having a rough day.

We went to help Emily move and her neighbor's dog bit him in the finger. Drew blood and everything.

So I took him to Yum to console him and it's closed and gone. He was bereft, "I loved going soda shopping! They had 300 different flavors!"

Top this off with (a) Maklo the next door neighbor dog moving away, (b) the razing and rebuilding of Children's Playground in GG Park so that his happy childhood memories have been erased and (c) the closure of the Where the Wild Things exhibit and he's hating on San Francisco.

So I got him a big milkshake.

And he got diarrhea.

That's a little better. Although it makes me look like a freak for driving from Frederick to DC on a daily basis. If only my husband preferred the city....

Go askye with the returning to school and stuff!

edit: Oh David, that's terrible. Poor Emmett.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Oh, poor Emmett! He's having a horrible, no good, very bad day. And, I'm evil because I'm sitting here laughing because everything all in one day is just absurd.
