Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Cash, I'm so glad he's going to be alright -- and so sorry its going to take some doing.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm sure your grandfather and your brother never drunk-dialled in their lives. nor crashed their cars into poles.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

DJ...does L have all the texts that her ex is referring to?

She might need that if he brings it to court or something.

Not that I think it would have any legal standing whatsoever, but what do I know?

No idea, but I do know that t-mobile doesn't have a way let you access them unless they are sent to your t-mobile email address. Also, seriously? Her texts are all, I would lay folding money, just like this "You out back?" "I'm here!" "Leaving in 5" That kind of stuff.

Plus, they have no kids, more debt than assets, so all of it's "Here's how it's going to be or I'll counter-sue!" is a bunch of puffery since he can't actually just grow a pair and get or hang onto a damn job.

I mean I've gone through tough times too, but I haven't gone through 4 jobs in a year. I don't decide I "need" to live in a designer apartment in Plano, and I sure as hell don't whine after I wipe my soon to be ex-spouse's account clean.

Seriously, his response to the perfectly civil

I'm assuming by now hopefully you've gotten your severance and are on the way to getting another job.

is this

No I haven't. I've been living off of credit. I just hope we sell the house or my ulcer kills me before I have to declare bankruptcy

Java, can you be hired as a headhunter. Say.. to find me a better paying job, as I am undervalued at my current employer?

At your service!

Well, let's hope for the ulcer, then.

He wouldn't happen to have a life insurance policy would he? 'cause: added bonus.

Wouldn't be worth much. Calculating his contribution to the household requires Jayne math "Lesse, take nothin' divided by nothin' carry the nothin'..."

Always Anti-fascist!

MM, it's lucky you and the Empress found each other. Because if we got together it would've been like...Couples' Crime Spree all the time. OTOH, I'm not passionate about camels, though they're cool. But the Bail budget might've strained things.
