Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Poor Emmett! gah.
I'm very intrigued by the eggrolls. I love the TJ's..most everything...but especially the mini-tacos. Same kind of concept as the eggrolls! mmmm!
Bars are just where drinking happens and drinking can lead to Bad Life Choices.
hah. yes. I made one recently with a guy I just found out is 22. 22! Young enough to be my child (if I was a teen mom, but still 22!) Yikes.
Cash, I was going to tell you that my nephew did the speech therapy thing in pre-K and K and that he turned out fine...but then I remembered he works for a Republican senator, so maybe he's not a good example.
I'm sure Mal's bound for various developmental concerns also, since, despite knowing what egg rolls are he doesn't talk very much, and never appears to have his head in the game.
snorgles juliana right back
Poor Emmett! Get better boy!
So, we're thinking Slumber Party for L Saturday night. Her mom is in town tomorrow, so she'll stay with her that night, then we'll be at her friend G's on Saturday. I was thinking hair and makeup stuff, booze, gossip rags and movies? music? what else? I'm hoping to remind her that it's not bad being a single girl and that coupled friends will still hang out just you and them.
In that vein, allow me a "shit I won't say"
Dear Jackass,
So, the bully/sweetie pie thing isn't working for you anymore huh? I wonder if that's part of what's making her leave you. Cause usually we love that Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde bullshit.
Laughing at your penis,
DJ

Oh that's an awesome Bad Life Choice.

That's going to keep me up nights.

I'm sort of interested in what the therapists have to tell me. I'm not overly concerned because I think he's smart and continuing to make progress--just at his own pace. From what I've read, most of these cases end up catching up by the time they enter kindergarten.
My motivation returned after lunch enough for me to do a load of dishes, start a load of towels, sweep and pick up toys. Liv's down for a nap and Owen's watching tv. I should fold the three loads of laundry in front of me so we can go out this afternoon. I need to return a horribly overdue library book and I want to try to hit the gym (or, as Owen puts it, "go see Jim."
I'm very intrigued by the eggrolls.
Not greasy! Loaded with good chicken meat and a perfect amount of bok choy and other stuff. I made four because I didn't think they'd be that filling, but they are. Sooooo good.
We're trying to get Emmett in for a doctor appt. today and an ultrasound. I'm worried that this is more than what we thought.
Oh, man. Poor Emmett. Gah. I hope you can get him in.
Is LJ down for y'all?
I'm feeling melancholy and broody, and want to read my people, and want people to write to me. But it is not working. Which, I'm telling myself, is why no one cares. And not actually that they don't care. Or, y'know, all that jazz. Sigh.
Brood. Brood. Brood.
I should really do some actual WORK at some point in here...doing my expense report only barely counts.
Hello, All. This'll probably be my only appearance today as I scramble to finish stuff for month end. But I wanted to at least say hello (announce my presence with authority
t / "Nuke" LaLouche
).
{{ Kristin }} Hope the tum has settled.
Not-as-serious-as-it-seems-ma to Emmett. Poor kid.
I made one recently with a guy I just found out is 22.
Fun one to make. There's a guy in my Ren Guild who's the sweetest thing and a fabulous flirt - and just turned 21. (My joke has been that I could be his mother if I was one of my Oklahoma cousins [not a comment on OK, but rather on my cousins]). Didn't stop me from asking him to marry me - 'course, he was rubbing my neck and shoulders at the time...
Plus, those tricks he showed me with his tongue...dayum!
Any word from ChiKat yet?
Anyone requiring ~ma for the remainder of today, should consider themselves supported by me (probably won't have time for email though. Sorry).
