Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

In fledgling news: the two bigger ones are gone, I hope flown away to start their lives. The fat fuzzy one is still there. I hope its parents are out hunting. If I could regurgitate something for the cute helpless fuzzbal I would!

Ok. I just named Melville's main character, Dobrila. I may not be in my right mind.

Oh, and the ads for the new Die Hard movie make me think that John McCain is who Jack Bauer really wants to be.

connie, though I was excited when I saw the first trailer, I got a little nervous when I found out it's Len Wiseman, director of the Underworld movies, who's directing.

I got less nervous when I read a thing about how Wiseman has always been a huge fan of the Die Hard movies (especially the first one), and when he read an early draft that had (for example) John McClain showing up at a police station asking, "What can I do to help," Wiseman said oh no no no no no NO. John McClain does not ask "What can I do to help," he shows up and says, "It's okay, I'm here now."

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, skipping and skimming I read this:

And thought that sean was talking about the Nancy Drew movie. Talk about a surprising choice in directors!

Love is stronger than death and harder than sorrow. Those who practice it are fierce like the light of stars traveling eons to pierce the night.

Whoa, I got busy watching Airplane with Daniel last night, then just went to bed, and all of a sudden there is new thread. Wacky.

Gronkilies, everyone!

Our wings are not tired.

Since I am without computer at home I thought I would stop by the office at 7 and do a few quick work things. So I caught up on my threads and pictures instead. Not all threads since I haven't seen Heroes or Lost yet.

"I thought it was neat how you posed yourself so noone could tell if you hadn't lost your baby weight. You can't see your hips, your belly or anything!"

We all have our own special talents unfriend. One of Aimee's is that she can't take a bad picture.

Bobby's baseball team won the championship last night! Mercy called at 13-2 after 4 innings. Now they get to do some regional thing. They ended the regular season in 5th place and came back to win it all. I'm so happy for them. They are a cute bunch. Brendon took pictures with my phone. Later I'll put some up.

Off to the homefront to get the 2nd one off to school.

Aimee, in my dreams sez: "Believe me, I know how lucky I am that I don't have to deal with your lumpy, mis-shaped body -- there's no way to disguise that in a picture, is there? But don't worry I've never cared about the way you look, I judge you on your personality. Bitch."

Things to be grateful for today: It's going to be 80+ degrees and I do not have to march with the graduates in full regalia.

Congratulations to Bobby and Team Bobby!
