I'm sorry, dad. You know I would never have tried to save River's life if I had known there was a dinner party at risk.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I can do this all day

MM, Aimee is on the train and on her way back to you.

Good to hear. And, uh...

She is conscious, yes?

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

She is conscious, yes?

The last time I saw her, at about 5:40 local time, she was indeed conscious. I make no guarantees about it now.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

At the time, sure. Can't speak for later developments. She did have that magazine.

Oh. Well, I'll just pick her up and put her in the trunk, then.

Our wings are not tired.

The Empress may miss her stop and end up visiting the NYCistas.

I'm watching Garrison Keiller on Book TV. I love listening to him.

{{Anne and family}} Yikes. I hope they get it under control in a hurry.

I am too!

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

It's been less than half a day, and already I misses my Empress ever so much.

Chicago was a blast, even though I had bad news from home hanging over my head.

More later, when I'm recovered from a flight that was twice as long and twice as warm (busted A.C., only partially repaired) than it should have been.

The boys are mocking Garrison's voice. I think he should have bedtime stories on tape for me to listen to. Such a pleasant delivery.

I love his voice. It's so soothing. Bedtime stories in that voice would be good.

I love this bit that he just said, "And we learn vocabulary we don't know how to pronounce, so we embarass ourselves." It reminds me a lot of my early years of reading.
