I was thinking shorter term. You know, like a Saturday at the comic stores of Ann Arbor followed by an evening at the movies or something. But yeah, work or not, Halloween will also probably feel like an escape.
I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of Aimee's bright, shiny new hair, btw. You Chicagoistas better take good pictures!
Lilty! Hey, how's it going?
I just made an appointment for TODAY to get my hair cut. I'm terrified! I haven't had short hair since I was 15! Someone comfort me.
It'll be fun! And you'll come out looking glam.
I can't complain! Nice lazy Saturday. How are you??
Lilty! Nice to see your font.
Lolling around home. Watching DVDs with teh daughter.
Lilty!
I'm glad you no longer have disgusting caterpillars, askye.
All of these parental units need to become well stat. You're making me want to call my mother.
I have not short hair for the first time since I was 12, and I really haven't gotten the hang of it. Back when I was 12, my mother was braiding it every day.
My mom, who was a stylist and knew my hair better than anyone, always used to cut it. When that was no longer possible, I just kept it long because I didn't trust anyone else with it. The few cuts I have had since then have only reinforced my distrust. So today I'm nervous.
And I'm off! Wish me good style!
