You got fired, and you still hang around here like a big loser. Why can't he?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Fuck valid reasons. Daisy lives there, that's valid enough. The chance to see LDP **and** JA live and in-person, going toe-to-toe?? That's incredibly luscious, creamy, decadent frosting on the cake.

....

When is that show, again??

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

Lots and lots of non-sucky job~ma to the Empress. She will not go to work for the asshat.

Cass, I'm with juliana. Who needs valid?

Huh. LJ truly exploded today.

Why are relationships so damn sucky?

Because, in the end, they're worth the pain and aggravation and frustration. I don't just mean romantic relationships; I'm talking about friendships as well. Communication is the real issue. Look at me and DH. I've got a spare bedroom and a well-stocked bar if you want to get away without really getting away.

Sigh. Yeah, I just mended a friendship last weekend (and she just called me after I texted her about the drama of this evening). Which is awesome.

I think it's karma, though--she was joking last week about how odd it is that she was single and I was coupled, and how she was about to go on a third date with this girl...well, now she's gone on a fourth date, has a fifth planned, and I may no longer be coupled...

t edit to add: heh, maybe we should just trade places for a few days, see if anyone notices. :) You take my place, I'll take your spare bedroom...

Not karma. You're just not in the right place for it to happen right now. Stop thinking that you can't commit, because I know that's where you're going. The planets haven't aligned for you yet.

Edit: Ha! People will notice immediately. Baby chem was a loooooong time ago. And I'm not as hot as you.

Muesli:

DJ, much strength and peace to L. It sounds like a hellish situation.

Tsk tsk--Maria, you're totally hot!!

Though given how incredibly messy my apartment currently is, I'd be ashamed to let anyone in it. I have like, four different pieces of luggage spewing clothes all over the livingroom. And that's just hte living room.

Um, that is neat compared to our house right now. I've got a piece of luggage on the ottoman in the bedroom and a larger suitcase next to the nightstand, DH has his golf stuff in the living room, and we've got two ceiling fans, two pictures and metal wall art hiding behind the loveseat. The kitchen is the only room that's clean at this point.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I wish I had a house, a mess, and a root.

I'm in funky funk land. And not the George Clinton kind of funk, either.

Blah.

I really need to quit watching movies about genocide and suicide. Ordinary People is not known for its uplifiting-ness.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Well, it has its moments. It's all "Rah rah go therapy!" Plus, Evil!Carol Burnett is kinda' uplifting.

As for me - I'm now on season 2 of Buffy. And I miss my kitty....

No, no it's not. I will now give you the same advice Pete gave me, earlier in the evening: "Look, you need a comfort movie. Go watch Auntie Mame."
