Angel: Will you just shut up for once?! Illyria: What? Angel: My God, the speechifying. Has it ever occurred to you that now might not be the best time for when-we-were-muck stories?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Oh, DJ, L's ex truly is a nickel-plated sphincter. I don't even have any other words. Vibing safety and disappear-him-forever~ma to L.

Sorry. My cousin just sent me an email telling me her sister is getting an annullment because "everything he said was lies."

WTF? Really, humans, cut it out.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, I'm glad DJ's been around so much this morning so when I saw about the explosions I didn't freak.

Christ, L's ex is bad news. Has she thought more about a restraining order, or is that even a possibility?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Has Emeline reached the "opposites humor" stage yet? It's Annabel's idea of high comedy, and involves things like saying Daddy is a girl and she and Mommy are boys, Calvin is a tiger and Hobbes is a boy, etc.

No, not really. At least from what I see. She mostly tickles or pulls faces and then just cracks up for hours.

She's not clued into genders yet. Although, I didn't think she knew her colors when she would declare something red "eight", so maybe she's just messing with me.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

DJ, she does need a restraining order, a safe place to stay, and supportive friends. So ... one covered, one in the works, the third also in the works, I hope.

Now tagless for your comfort.

That's the height of hilarity at our house. "What color is the (white) cat?" "BLACK. Hahahaha!"

Paperdol, I'm sure the review is going to be great. No barfing.

We lost power again this morning. 3rd time this month. I packed the kids in the van to head to toddler zone and when we got there, my neighbor called my mobile phone. She couldn't get her car out of the garage because the power was out. I tried to talk her through using the emergency pull thingy but she couldn't pull it down. She said she was calling her daughter to come over to help. I don't know if she managed to get it open or just called a ride to work. I'll have to go over there this evening and check out her garage door--make sure she knows how to open in in case of a power outtage.

oh, such a good neighbor, Cashmere! also beautiful hair (I don't think I said that before).

I may even go out and buy an EW to read the review.

And happy bug-day, vw!

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Thanks DJ - you are in Dallas, right? Everyone ok there? What with the gas explosions and whatnot?

Yeah. 'Splosion was scary and not far from where I work (off I-35) but except for crazy traffic and dark skies there's not much difference here.

I did have to navigate Boss Lady around it so she can get her son to the doctor.

Here's a link to DMN's liveblogging of it [link]

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

"What color is the (white) cat?" "BLACK. Hahahaha!"

For the longest time Annabel used "lion" for both lions and tigers. Eventually she got that the stripey ones are tigers, but she still calls them lions about half the time, but with this certain glint in her eye that shows her joy in messing with Mommy's head.

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

I'll be reviewed in Friday's Entertainment Weekly.

I figured it would be soon. I've been checking the last few weeks since the reviewer posted that she was going to be reviewing it. I think that happening is probably a good sign.
