Has Emeline reached the "opposites humor" stage yet? It's Annabel's idea of high comedy, and involves things like saying Daddy is a girl and she and Mommy are boys, Calvin is a tiger and Hobbes is a boy, etc.

We lost power again this morning. 3rd time this month. I packed the kids in the van to head to toddler zone and when we got there, my neighbor called my mobile phone. She couldn't get her car out of the garage because the power was out. I tried to talk her through using the emergency pull thingy but she couldn't pull it down. She said she was calling her daughter to come over to help. I don't know if she managed to get it open or just called a ride to work. I'll have to go over there this evening and check out her garage door--make sure she knows how to open in in case of a power outtage.

I may even go out and buy an EW to read the review.

Yeah. 'Splosion was scary and not far from where I work (off I-35) but except for crazy traffic and dark skies there's not much difference here.

I did have to navigate Boss Lady around it so she can get her son to the doctor.

For the longest time Annabel used "lion" for both lions and tigers. Eventually she got that the stripey ones are tigers, but she still calls them lions about half the time, but with this certain glint in her eye that shows her joy in messing with Mommy's head.

I figured it would be soon. I've been checking the last few weeks since the reviewer posted that she was going to be reviewing it. I think that happening is probably a good sign.

MM, after his meeting yesterday ND has dates for Halloween for you. If you get this job, you probably won't be able to come, though, right? Hmm. Dilemma. Want you to have job, but want you to come back for this job, too. Ima root for you to get the job and have a ridiculously understanding boss who says, "Sure, go work in LA for ten days! Lemme buy you a ticket!"

Actually, we've been bemoaning the lack of a teleporter these past couple of months. Sean's had so much work through ND and others that a ton of theater etc. stuff has opened up. We've been wishing we could beam you out here to work.

ION, everyone is making me grin with their opposite humor stories. My friend's daughter is just now at that stage, and she's cute as hell.
