Two things about interviewing today:
I gave my step-grandma a cd player walkman thingy that used to be my brother's, so it would be easier for her to listen to the recordings I've been doing. I was showing her how to use it, and she said, "Well, isn't this something! What will they think of next?"
I decided to let it go and not tell her about the iPod.

It's on Wednesday, and is out at the ... White River Ampitheatre? Nowhere near downtown, trust me.

It's part of why the Inca never made much use of the wheel (despite what I'd been taught, they DID have them pre-columbus -- but it was easier to pack llamas than haul carts around.)
I heard they used wheels primarily on kids' toys. I like the idea of kids complaining that all they had were these stoopid wheels, and when were they going to be allowed to borrow the llama for the weekend?
