Walking I get. But power walking? Why not just run for a shorter time?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

I'm up. I forgot to bring dinner so I'm having a turkey pot pie from the stash that my boss stowed in the freezer for just such an occasion.

I'm writing my Hawthorne fanfic section now. This is harder than it sounds.

Next is Melville fanfic. Let's hope I'll hit five pages with those.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I am hating LiveJournal right now. Won't let me post or comment. I have things to say!

IM IN UR JOURNAL, BEING OPPRESSED!

lj worked for me about ten minutes ago. Not to say, "neener, neener neener." Just thought I'd let you know it's not being mean to everybody. At the moment.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

Poooooooooooooooooooooor oppressed Cassie!

OK, I just saw an ad for a movie version of Nancy Drew. And it looks like a catastrophe, and I've never even really liked Nancy Drew! It's almost like they're turning Nancy into a kind of Deputy Barney Fyfe and they're sending her to hyper-with-it girl's school of some sort. I have no idea if there's a mystery involved or if it's just small town nerdie girl gets a makeover. Which is just wrong, because Nancy was always with-it.

Oh, and the ads for the new Die Hard movie make me think that John McCain is who Jack Bauer really wants to be.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bartleby the early years?

"Bartleby and the Scribner school co-eds"?

So, uh, jury duty. Thought it'd be a one-day boring toil of civic duty. May well turn into half my summer vacation gone on a civil suit. YAY.
