Hey! What a surprise! Hostile 17! Can I get you a drink, Hostile 17?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Oh, Suzi! I am thinking about you all.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

(((Suzi))) And (((Suzi's Mom))) May her blood do everything it needs to, and may the surgery go well. And, ugh. Your poor mom, and poor you. You've had two or three families' shares of health worries and miseries just over the last year alone.

I get to go to Portland in FIVE DAYS THOUGH OMG.
Sweet!

My massive brain fade is working out too. Which I hadn't mentioned here yet cause I had to work it out with SA first. So what happened is this...

My dad calls me a few days ago. He wants to meet in San Jose for the Champ Car race there and, dude, I am so there. He has already bought tickets and has our rooms reserved and is going to pay for my freaking flight even. A race weekend with dad! I am all kinds of exclamation points about this. It's a crazy good surprise.

We get off the phone, I find the dates for the race weekend and start looking at plane tickets and the shark theme music of doom starts up. Because those dates? Look awfully familiar. So I check e. Yep, that's smack in the middle of when SA is in the PNW... Oh, *expletiveboldfacedandthendeleted* noes!

BUT! Okay, much flailing and rending of garments happened. And tracking of SA down to explain the mess which she said would work out perfectly fine. And it will!

So now I get to gleeble about getting SA in less than a week, much fun to be had and trips around the PNW *and* I am also getting a bonus race weekend with my dad too! And I just have to book some plane tickets and endure some mocking for not realizing that the dates were, in fact, very much overlapping from you people. YAY!

And my birthday is tomorrow! Which I tend to remember because it follows Juliana's and I share it with Jared Padalecki.
And by share, you mean...

Happy birthday, SA! I can makes you a cake. When you are here. So I don't eatted it.

The status is NOT quo.

{{{{Suzi}}}} I am so sorry, love. We're here.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Suzi--much strength to you and your family. This health roller coaster your mom is on must be so difficult for all of you.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Ya know, we have been through so much over the last few years, that hospitals and doctors don't intimidate me too much. I just laugh as they go through her medical history. NOTHING about her kidney failure follows the norms.

It was driving home that had me falling apart...but I had to pull it back together before I got home.

Now, I'm just numb. I haven't decided if I'm going to try to work tomorrow. I have a big report due out at noon. My side of the report is done, but I had said I would help the admin assistant pull the thing together (it is over 2,000 pages). She is the one who is filling in for the gal who is on maternity. I hate to leave her alone her first month doing this by herself, but my brain is so mushy right now.

Oh, Suzi. You have been through so much. And I kinda wish you could just fall apart and then pull yourself back together for *yourself* so you could do it right and not feel so torn.

Maybe not go to work tomorrow? Unless that feels easier to you...

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Poor Suzi. Even the A's breaking their losing streak is sad consolation.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Oh, Suzi. All my good thoughts to your mom and to you and your family.

Sail, from much earlier today, that was an awesome road trip. I kept having to slow down to 80 through SC, y'all! When can we do it again?

Oh, now I'm doubly jealous of Cass--SA *and* a race weekend with Dad? Oh, well, maybe not so jealous of the race weekend. But I hope you enjoy it lots and lots. Want SA pictures!

You had to slow down to 80? I would so let you drive my car...
