Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I heard something on a passing car radio about someone's looking for the most cluttered home in Baltimore. The winner will get a free removal from 1-800-GOTJUNK.

And there are people protesting the national spelling bee - they're out in front of the hotel with signs advocating "sensible" spelling. One sign has "good enuf for him" next to a picture of Ronald Reagan. eesh

okay, I know everyone on edges of their seats, I got the letter and I think it looks pretty good. Small raise + same vacation time I get now (which was a big issue for me because i've been here a while and get a lot of vacation time--4 weeks). yikes!

Hooray, lisah!

My favorite liipstick went through the dryer and is now an ex-lipstick. Boo.

Eta: lipgloss went through dryer also, but survived. Yay. The emotional roller coaster of laundry.

Yay Lisa!!

I have arrived home from my minivacation. I am looking at the dishes, piles of clothes, etc, and I'm thinking "Maybe I should just declare I am on vacation until tomorrow morning when I go to work". But then I think "but I'm always so much HAPPIER when my place is clean!" Ah, the eternal lazy vs. controlfreak dilemma...

I can't find my desk. I think it's here somewhere. I may need an excavator.

My clothes are mysteriously unscathed. I guess the lipstick sublimated?

Mostly lurking...

I have been very productive today. I've done the equivalent of 16 loads of laundry (No! I do not have that many clothes! Spring cleaning... washed all the sheets, comforters, etc.), grocery shopped, and other errand running, including buying some workout clothes and tank tops at Sears.

Apparently, though, the top I am currently wearing would also be chucked by the What Not to Wear people. I got asked when I am "due" at the grocery store--hence the buying of a few new tank tops that fit a little better, instead of trying to just continue to wear the ones I bought last summer. Ugh.
