Overwhelming? How much more than whelming would that be exactly?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

And why do they insist it be in your own handwriting?

It's a good question. I mean, it's not like I could type it -- seriously, I think the gap between the lines is too small. I handwrote my "Additional remarks and/or explanations" and barely managed to fit in the explanation (and I feel a bit of schadenfreude for whoever has to read it, especially the faxed version). So the only thing they're ruling out is having somebody else write it.

There is, no exaggeration, about a centimeter between the lines. Acrossthehall!Teacher suggested I treat it like a child's composition book.

Moving~ma, Emily! I hate those forms where you have to write things in by hand. I don't write small and my lines always end up slanting up towards the righthand corner. It looks stupid.

KristinT -Omnis, you know MM--he's Aimee's husband, father of Em. They live in Michigan now. Also, hi! How are the kitties?
Yes KT, I know who he is and where he is. Guess I should have said "did you move BACK to the OC" or something. :: sigh :: funnies always sound funnier in the head then on the board.

Kitties are fine. Mia is hiding. Byron is King and can't make up his mind if he is inside, or outside. Mom came to visit and took her to the Huntington and the LA Arboretum. We both thought the Huntington Gardens were FAR superior! Oy vey did I get my excercise for the week.

The status is NOT quo.

Oops! D'uh. I'm slow with the funny, Omnis. I gotcha now. Glad you had fun with your mom!

Emily, all the best with your move! May you find the perfect school in Virginia. And yeah, sorry about the very annoying application fun.

Have you looked into the VA state licensure process? How's it looking?

Sort of stranded at work. Feh. I work pretty close to the 'splodey and there aren't really any good transportation options to get home. So I'll do some overtime and all that until the car service can find a car for me.

Shit, Trudy. Glad you're okay. That's pretty scary. Good luck getting home soon.

Kristin, licensing looks good:

an individual coming into Virginia from any state may qualify for a Virginia license with comparable endorsement areas if the individual has completed a state-approved teacher training program through a regionally accredited four-year college or university or if the individual holds a valid out-of-state teaching license, which must be in force at the time the application for a Virginia license is made.

Although thank goodness I still have my Massachusetts one, because would you believe I still have not received the California one? Is that bullshit or what?

Trudy, sorry you're stuck at work, but I'm glad you're ok.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Oy, Trudes.

Good luck, Emily.

I should be working. And, yet, not.
