I'm feeling a little whiney today. I thought I'd be able to start wearing my contacts again today, but woke up with newly pinked, slightly itchy eyes. So, that's glasses for another dance class tonight. And in my dance class on Monday, I pulled something in both arms working on the lift we just learned for our Jitterbug routine. (It's gonna be really cute, just practicing it a few dozen times wasn't so much pleasant for the upper arms, or shoulders, or chest, really). But no need for brackets, just wanted to whine for a sec.

gah! Okay. Guy called to see if I'd gotten letter and there's nothing in my gmail box. I asked him to resend both to gmail & yahoo accounts and nothing in either of them yet. Universe! How much crazier do you really want me to be today?!?

I hope Emmett's groin forgives him soon and everything goes back to normal.

One of the krav students who's particularly odd made up a birthday card for one of the instructors (he's in FX, so it was really sharply designed) whose punchline (when you lifted a tab on the inside) was his bruised nut sack from a groin kick the instructor had given him.

Her birthday was in January and she's still showing it around.

But that was earned bruising, not stupid stuff like is plaguing Emmett.

oh yeah. I totally thought he was calling to say they'd decided I wasn't right for them after all. How much time before I email him and say "Just Reply to this with letter attached dofus!" ?
