Congratulations, Robin! Happy housing!
GF and I are pretty much set on buying a house in Pasadena. We are going to start seriously looking in about a year. I want to finish school (or at least get close), we have some work to do on the condo to get it livable (for renters - we are going to try to swing keeping it), and GF would like to find a job where she's an employee rather than a contractor. I can't stop perusing realtor.com, which is making GF cranky. I can't help it - I'm so excited!
Today I must:
- Write and submit abstract for September conference presentation
- Finish drafting reuse/single-sourcing Best Practices doc
- Print out Comic-Con ticket (squee!)
That's doable, right? I was supposed to do the first two yesterday, but I punked out.
Yay Robin! Welcome to the world of indebtedness!
Yay Robin! happy debt!
And the Go Fug Yourself girls have fugged a kilt. For the first time, I think. Mr. Tori Spelling, whatever his name is.
Happy Birthday, Trouble!
ION; I've seen that a few people (here & on LJ) had not the best night's sleep. Must be something in the atmosphere. Jilli should have been up for work at 7:45 but was so tired she went back to bed. I'm waking her at 9:30.
She is a fuzzy wikkle goth, yes, she is.
I need sustenance. But ... it's far away and it's raining.
You have all the sustenance you need. It is called Buffistas.
Low in calories too.
Buffistas fill my heart.
I need something to fill my tummy.
I manged to get 20 minutes on the treadmill before the childcare center called me down. Miss Liv was having a meltdown. Still, 20 minutes is 20 minutes.
Then I ruined it because Owen wanted to stop at "Old Macdonald's" for french fries and chocolate milk.
I ate a cheeseburger. Mmmm...greasy.
I need something to fill my tummy.
Considers preganancy joke, decides against it...
So, I better go wake up the gothic slumberbunny, hadn't it?
Happy birthday to the legendary Juliana!
Yay mortgage! (That's not a phrase you hear too often.)
Aimee, I wish the job thing could have magically worked out differently. I know you like your boss.
I am a completely frazzled person. My cleaning people were supposed to come between 1 and 3, and after I got back from the Y, I was still scrambling around putting stuff up. Then I did a phone interview for an article. At 11, I went to pick up some prescriptions I was out of. At about 11:30, I was standing in the world's longest prescription line when the cleaning company called and said the cleaners were already at my house. I was also getting Prilosec, and since I've been out for a couple of days, my acid reflux is eating me alive. I didn't get back here until about noon. I can haz screaming fit now?
