Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

vanguard of the socialist Hollywood liberal homosexualist agenda

Can you tell I just spent nearly two hours in a clothing store trying on everything in my size and one size up and down, and came home with... nothing?

God I hate days like that. Usually I just come home and eat something fattening.

Vicious cycle, party of one...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

hands Ailleann a slice of red velvet cake

You should know I'm a big deal in the Resistance.

FTR resale shopping with my Mom is good for your self esteem. If you're going to be in the southern California area let me know so we can arrange an expedition!

It saddens me that some of my sickest most twisted porn is trapped forever inside VHS tapes.

Now tagless for your comfort.

This is what makes shopping for shoes so much better. It's easier finding things that fit and are stylish and comfortable.

I got new running shoes today and since it was a buy one, get one half off sale, I bought these. Liv has them in pink and I know why she wants to sleep in them. They are comfortable as hell!

Oh see that's not fair. Why can't we get the pink ones in grown-up sizes?

They had some pretty ones, including silver in adult sizes but none as pretty as the sparkly, pink girls' shoes. *sigh*

mmm, cake.

is there any clothes shopping experience that IS good for a woman's self-esteem? What with the horror-show lighting

The other day I was in the banana republic store, and cursed their GOOD lighting--it was all dim and indirect, it made EVERYTHING look pretty good. For once I was in a mirror going 'Yeha, I look goooood". Still didn't buy the $100 knit dress, but I was damn tempted.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Anyone ever shipped stuff with Amtrak? How much does it cost?

I've shipped stuff via Greyhound, a long time ago so I don't remember the exact prices and I'm sure it wouldn't apply anymore, but it was cheaper than any other option for moving the bulk of my stuff to college.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

the fashions that don't flatter anyone except the big-boobed sticks we're apparently supposed to be

Fashion doesn't flatter anyone larger than a B cup. Breasts apparently ruin the line.

Fashion is evil and mean.
