Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Code ~ma to Matt. Sorry that he has to work today.
How is everyone's weekend?
I think we're going to try to see "Evening" sometime today. Tomorrow I have a graduation party, and then, since it is Restaurant week in Providence, TCG and I are going to treat ourselves to a nice dinner, that would normally be much more expensive.
Happy birthday, Zenkitty!
A Viking ship made from ice-cream sticks set sail across the Netherlands' IJsselmeer lake on Friday and its stuntman builder hopes to cross the Atlantic later.
Proving that if the Vikings had just had enough ice-cream sticks they could have settled North America before Columbus.
Sorry Matt has to work and I hope things improve for his boss's daughter. That sounds awful.
I've decided I hate asthma. Diabetes is annoying, but if I pay attention it doesn't realy effect my life. Asthma is just plain rude. It isn't very predictable. I was sick - so I am going to be more sensitive. I walked home today , no problem. 20 minutes later - I am sitting in the big chair - quietly, not doing anything . I have a coughing fit that has exhausted me. I now need to rest before I do anything. bah.
coding~ma to Matt!
I need to learn to get up, shower, and get dressed first thing each morning. Since I've been unemployed, there are some (many) days I don't need to leave home, so I just sleep in, hang out in the morning and if I get dressed, it happens around 2 or 3. The days I actually get up, shower, get dressed, etc., I get a lot more done. Even if I never leave the house.
I've been working on homework for the past 2 hours and have gotten a lot accomplished. Yesterday? I, um, did dishes. Oh! And I took out the trash and cleaned the trashcan.
I'm at the airport now waiting to board my plane to head east and join Kristin.
Happy Birthday, Zenkitty!
Today I read a book and did some work from home and am now going for a bike ride.
Have a safe flight, NoiseDesign.
Here's a picture of the popsicle ship
beth, how is Matt's boss's daughter? What an awful situation. All the best to them. I hope you feel better, too.
Laura, you sound like you're having a great time.
Happy Birthday, Zenkitty!
beth, how is Matt's boss's daughter?
not really sure. they are sending her to the children's hospital for rehabilitation. I know they were fitting her for a wheelchair, but I don't know how much damage there was. On top of all this M witnessed what happened to her sister, but is only 2. She really doesn't understand what happened and keeps asking for her big sister.
In me news, I vacuumed. and I swept the living room floor. So I feel like I am accomplishing something. and I earned a break. I still want to wash the lv room floor and then make a blueberry pie for brunch at Suzi's tomorrow.
Thanks for the birthday wishes, everyone! I've had a good day. I bought steak for dinner and $300 worth of new clothes, which is... good, I guess. I needed them, anyway. And one shirt has floppy sleeves, so that makes me happy!
beth, so terrible about Matt's boss's little girl! I hope she can recover. God, a playground accident. I'd never have the courage to be a mom; I'd be terrified all the time.
Get home quickly, ND!
