Also so totally and completely FTW - Dame Shirley Bassey covering Pink's "Get The Party Started". Originally for a Marks & Spencer TV ad, it's now the title track on her latest album, and so awesome it kills me. I can't get any more work done. I am dead from awesomeness. I need to do a picspam of Dame Shirley's awesomeness.

One place I really like that you don't hear a lot about is the Museum of London. It's right next to a pretty good sized chunk of the London wall.

Also, drink some real ale for me. Ah, Britain, the land of great beer.

yeah- Edinburgh's kind of freaky that way... they just sort of kept... building UP. You can see it still in the upper stratas.
