So, how was your summer? Mine was fun. Saw some fish. Went mad with hunger. Hallucinated a whole bunch.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Grump.

Way too early to be here. Had to take hub to airport at fuckit o'clock in the morning. Bah.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Beej said, in regard to virtual assistants, "One can make a fine living making people very happy" but neglected to add "and it's legal!" ... which many occupations making people happy are not. yeah - THAT one.

sj, best wishes for your friend. And d, here's hoping your father's diagnosis is not as bad as you fear.

No, I don't think I will - me, quoting Captain Steve Rogers, to all of 2020

Hell, maybe I should look into this virtual assisting thing. I mean, you know, being one.

It's looking like either that or selling my body.

And I only want to give up so many kidneys, and a quick eBay search shows that almost no one wants my appendix.

Librarian Warlord

There's nothing like coming in to work and finding out that the evening librarian didn't bother to read the instructions I'd left and totally screwed up a project. For the second day in a row. Yesterday I left a nice note pointing out where he'd gone wrong and why he shouldn't do that any more. This morning, he's officially a fuck up.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Teppy, have you seen this?
