Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Our wings are not tired.

ND, does this mean you and Kristin have made the switch?

I have made the switch, she has not. She dropped her 8125 in a puddle a few months ago and replaced it with a Blackberry Pearl and can't justify the expense of replacing again right away.

Right, I remember the puddle incident. I hope your iPhone lasts longer than your Treos usually do.

I am having my personal cell (Treo 700) number imported to my work Treo (650 and so much better than the 700 in terms of dropped calls) and then getting rid of my personal account. Nice $85 month savings, that.

I need to sell the 700 but can't sell it to a friend since I think it sucks.

Well, I pretty much expect to replace my phones once a year. I'm sure Apple will have a better model ready for me by then.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Phew, that was a wild All Star game, but the AL triumphs again. Good news for the Red Sox, Tigers or Angels come World Series time.

In other all-star news, Emmett's team is 3-0 so far. They beat a tough Alameda team (traditionally a Little League powerhouse) tonight.

Emmett had a double down the line and closed the game out by striking out the last batter on three pitches.

eta: Actually that means we're in the District finals and we're in the winner's bracket. That means we've got two shots to win District 4 and go on to Sectionals.

The status is NOT quo.

Actually, it's more that I have blown my budget so far out of the water that all I can see is its wee arms flailing as it heads towards the ground far, far in the distance.

Well, I pretty much expect to replace my phones once a year. I'm sure Apple will have a better model ready for me by then.
Pardon me, but have you see my eyeballs? They seem to have rolled out of my head. Again.

In totally other news, SO much ~ma for d and hisher dad.

It's nice to see some brave pretenders trying to make it interesting.

Thanks, Kristin. (I'm a she)

The nurse told my mom they weren't mentioning the C word until they know for sure so she's much more optimistic than I, especially since he's been placed in the oncology ward. Mom did say she likes the med staff they've seen so far, so even if it's bad news she thinks they're in good hands.

If the all powerful buffista~ma can be aimed towards Nice, France that would be great.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

goodness ... yes, Jilli, you need that hat. I rather like this one. sigh ... but I'm not a hat person.

And pretty in pink indeed - I like the scruffiness with the pretty shirt.

And d, much ~ma to your father.
