Phew, that was a wild All Star game, but the AL triumphs again. Good news for the Red Sox, Tigers or Angels come World Series time.
In other all-star news, Emmett's team is 3-0 so far. They beat a tough Alameda team (traditionally a Little League powerhouse) tonight.
Emmett had a double down the line and closed the game out by striking out the last batter on three pitches.

Actually that means we're in the District finals and we're in the winner's bracket. That means we've got two shots to win District 4 and go on to Sectionals.
can't justify the expense of replacing again right away
Actually, it's more that I have blown my budget so far out of the water that all I can see is its wee arms flailing as it heads towards the ground far, far in the distance.
Well, I pretty much expect to replace my phones once a year. I'm sure Apple will have a better model ready for me by then.

The nurse told my mom they weren't mentioning the C word until they know for sure so she's much more optimistic than I, especially since he's been placed in the oncology ward. Mom did say she likes the med staff they've seen so far, so even if it's bad news she thinks they're in good hands.
If the all powerful buffista~ma can be aimed towards Nice, France that would be great.

Yay, I got our plane tickets for Christmas in Columbus! Another Skybus deal, $60 r/t each. With taxes and stuff, it comes to about $150 in total. And they're good flights, time-wise! Whee!
