Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

All is well that ends in pizza.

For LOLCat readers, here's a comic for you. [link]

Of course they also have a very Mathista comic at that site. [link]

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Of course they also have a very Mathista comic at that site. [link]

Awesome!

Now tagless for your comfort.

We had a cookout for a few friends here yesterday. I planned for around noon because I was worried about the weather. It started raining at 3 so we moved the party inside. We lost power about 10 minutes later.

Folks stuck around to help us clean up and then left around 4.

We didn't get power back until nearly 11 p.m.

Oh, Suzi and mom. I'm so sorry it didn't work out. How disappointing for you all. But, this means she's number 1 on the list now, right?

Cashmere, that sounds really frustrating! What was with the rain yesterday? We sat in it for five hours to see the Boston fireworks last night (which were AMAZING). I swear I'm still wet.

Morning all! Sneaking a few minutes online with my coffee before we girls head out for pedicures and baby room fabric shopping. The shower was so lovely, and they were SO surprised. They cried several times during the whole thing, and it was really sweet.

Suzi, sorry your mom didn't get a transplant. I hope she gets one soon, though.

Thanks, vw! We still managed to have a pretty fun time. Olivia showed her patriotic spirit.

Aw, Suzi, I'm sorry the transplant people got your hopes up and that it didn't work out for your Mom. I'll keep my fingers crossed that it happens for her soon.

Buffista kiddos are cute!

We finally took care of all the boxes that were piled up in our bedroom. We'd gotten used to ignoring them and pretending they didn't bother us, but now the bedroom seems so much bigger I'm happy we tore apart the storage space and packed them away.

Also? Bottle rockets and firecrackers, etc., were going off in our neighborhood until 1 a.m. last night so it's a very Zzzzzzz morning.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Sorry, Suzi! But that means she's at the top of the list now, right?

Gee. I forgot to pay my rent. Guess I better do that.

Ann, that's a ferret.

Transplant~ma for Suzi's mother.

We had some of Hubs's family over for a cookout and fireworks.

Our neighborhood is big on fireworks. I'd thought we spent too much until I heard that one of the neighbors spent $2700 -- we were just a drop in the bucket compared to that.

Worst moment -- Not sure, but it would have to involve the 9-year-old nephew who's such a terror even Max barely tolerates him. Possibly when nephew, who after being repeatedly told (by his parents and others) that he wasn't allowed to light any of the fireworks, reached into my pants pocket to grab a lighter.

The food was great. Even if we do need a new barbecue grill.
