Yes. Men like sports. Men watch the action movie, they eat of the beef, and enjoy to look at the bosoms. A thousand years of avenging our wrongs and that's all you've learned?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Yay for nice, mellow festivities! (Is that contradictory? Eh, works in my head).

So, I saw trailers (this weekend and last) for two movies that, in very different ways, are based on real events. I feel like having problems with both of them because they're "violating canon." The people I was with for each trailer think I'm being a slightly anal psycho (my words) for caring this much. Is it just me? Anybody else have issues with filmmakers fictionalizing people they care about? Am I just a psycho? (The movies, by the way, were Evan Almighty, and a new Jane Austen story. I may be coming around to the psycho-vote).

Yay, Aims! Congrats!

I've already chosen her dress, the attendant's dresses, and the flower girl dress.

Does she get any votes?

Have fun!

I've missed my Bitches.

tommyrot, I'm so sorry to hear about Senor Sock. It's clear that he was well-loved, and will be missed. {{{}}}

Happy late birthday Sean!

Yay for weddings!

Love and ~ma to anyone that got missed on my skimming.

So, this weekend I: got sunburned, saw Kevin Freakin Sorbo, people-watched in the lobby of a sci-fi con, developed a very strong crush on a Boy from Indianapolis, discovered that my AC unit was leaking water about ten minutes before I left the house for a two-day trip, smooshed and almost snapped off my driver's side mirror, visited friends, and came home at 10:30pm to more leaked water and also an overflowing toilet.

So, yeah, you gotta take the good with the bad, I guess.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Aimée is FAST.

Epic, sorry to hear about the medical woes.

What real event is Evan Almighty based on?

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Does she get any votes?

Hee! She has already approved her dress and we are waffling over a couple of b-maid dresses.

Also? Holy cow! The rules for getting married in a Catholic church are just ... wow.
