And I myself will be wearing pink taffeta as chenille would not go with my complexion.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Sunburn disrupts my sleep as it seems to break my temperature gauge.

It did disrupt my sleep a bit, but more because of the pain than because of temperature. It was a nice cool night, so the temp wasn't too much of a problem.

How are you guys this morning?

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

I'm so sorry to hear about your kitty, tommyrot.

Happy (belated) birthday, Sean!

Our wings are not tired.

This was my last early day of the school year. The rest of the week Brendon doesn't need to get to school until 11. Bobby doesn't go until 9:30. No more getting up at 6 something until school starts again in August. I am not a morning person. I wake with the sun. Of course it is actually light out in the summer at that hour when I don't need to get up. Life, she is not fair.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

Gronk. I didn't get the best night's sleep, but Mom is coming by in a little while so we can do more packing, so I'm up and caffeinating.

Yay, for the temporary end of early mornings, Laura!

{{tommy}} Senor Sock was so very lucky to have you as his caregiver. Peace ~ma.

How's the sunburn this a.m., vw? They are so very, very ouch. It took a biopsy for me to learn constant vigilance, so don't beat yourself up. And having said that, I've probably doomed myself to looking lobsterish by the end of the day, because karma is like that.

I had a good weekend with my parents, niecephews, BiL, and the Boston Terriers. I am, however, going to sit on my sister until she promises to behave.

move out and draw fire

Happy Belated Birthday, Sean! More cake!

I got sunburnt a couple weeks ago, and when it peeled I thought Mal was going to lose it. People are not allowed to peel in Toddlerland, apparently.

OK. I've had coffee. I have no excuse to not go find my motivation.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Fashion I Look Askance At: I was at a wedding this weekend and there were all these young, tan, slender young women wearing short dresses that looked like sacks hanging from the neck. So freaking dumpy looking and unflattering. And, there were like 4 or 5 of these dresses in attendance! Baffling.

Missed the turnover, had a very long weekend in many senses of the word. Processing family stuff- er, I'll just move along with life I think.
