Can't any one of your damn little Scooby club at least try to remember that I hate you all?

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

Plei, wouldn't a Target have Zeppelin and beer?

It's totally possible! I keep forgetting Target sells booze.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

There is no booze in Target here. Sad now.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Happy birthday, Sean!

CJ pitched today for the first time...evah. He struck out his first batter. He kept a smile on his face the whole inning. And he gave up a homerun.

But all in all, he LOVED the experience.

That's Emmett's take. Even a bad day pitching is pretty fun because you're pitching.

I feel like quoting all my Brock Sampson lines about Led Zeppelin.

"What's the matter, little man? Don't like Zep?"

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

The little league level CJ is at has a mercy rule for all but the last inning of either 3 outs ending an inning (as normal) or 5 runs. So, the worst a new pitcher can do is give up 5 runs...which CJ did. He did get 2 outs before the 5 runs, so it was not horrible.

He also made some great plays in the field and at bat, so a good game overall. His team is in second place, so they will make play offs. Wheeeeeeeee!

Because books.

Happy birthday, Sean!

tommy, I'm so sorry about Senor Sock. It's clear how much you loved him.

Yay on good baseball and Matilda welcoming you home with pulling up, Hec.

Sorry about the sunburn, vw, and the horrible brother-in-law, Laga, and the lack of Zep, Plei. All my Zep except for Houses of the Holy (I think) is on vinyl, or I'd send you some.

Massive skipping and skimming has ensued, so general hugs and vibes are going out to Bitches who want them or need them.

Thanks so much, Teppy, Laura, Cash, David, AmyLiz, and all my beloved Bitches.

Sometimes it's hard to remember what life was like before I found you wonderful people.

Okay, I better stop before I start waxing maudlin. Tears are already welling up in my eyes.
