Tara: Do you have any books on robots? Giles: Oh, yes, dozens. There's a lot of research to be done in order to--no, I'm lying. Haven't got squat. I just like watching Xander squirm.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Thank you, Jilli! I was thinking of that exact lovely-spats website when Vortex posted the Spats From Hell, but I couldn't remember the address. I very badly needed to look at some pretties just now.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

I think this is your default response to wrong things today...

It's my default response to everything today. Stepping off the wagon tonight, baybee!

(And the Quebecois Menace requires something stronger than Fernet. Possibly Chartreuse.)

Man, Plei, you should really share that video with the class.

I think I first saw it ages ago in Natter, but just in case...

Embrace the idea that we are the leaders we've been looking for. Grace Lee Boggs

{{{JZ}}} Your birthday can get better now. No burning of house. Doing better of EM.

At least your proposed breakfast sounded fantastic, and an extra hour of sleep, whoo-hoo! I'll bet that from Hec is the best birthday present evah!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

The omelet was unbelievably tasty. However, it's now curdling in my gut as I find that our joint account is overdrawn (Hec gets paid tomorrow and I get paid Friday, so it's not dire, just mildly distressing). Also, I may possibly have a job interview, yay!, but it will include a thorough credit check, boo sss fuck!

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Also, I have a new money-suck love:

Am I the only one who read monkey-suck and was Very Very Afraid?

Glad the omelet was enjoyable, sorry your tum's fighting it. We all know this one, I'm sure. You're (universal "you" are) a good person, don't commit crimes, but still feel like the biggest dumbass non-grown-up when you accidentally pull one of these. Does it make you feel better to know you're not in this boat alone? And some of us don't even have joint accounts - so no one to blame but ourselves for not paying attention/not writing stuff down/whatever. Being a "grownup" is hard.

I really hope your special day takes a turn for the less stressful, more joyful - nowish. ::gives Universe a look::

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Happy Birthday, JZ! The world can now start treating you in the regal way you deserve.

To which I say "huh?" and chug Fernet.
I think this is your default response to wrong things today...

"This bar smells like kerosene and stripper tears."

Can I borrow your default response, juliana? I have a feeling I'll need it for a phone convo tonight.
