'Out Of Gas'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Adorable.
Let's never do that, m'kay?
Is is nauseated in here, or is it just me?
I think I just threw up a little.
Oh wait. No.
Make that a lot.
Let's never do that, m'kay?
We won't.
I might.
ION, typing in 'Top of the Pops' into YouTube brings up all the studio performances from, well, everyone. I just found Duran Duran's first appearance doing 'Girls on Film' and Morrissey's 'November Spawned a Monster'.
Oh, and Shaking Stevens, but we won't talk about that...
I might. You would be mean if you did. And it will not result in my having the Chocolate Boy, just me never ever being able to buy your wife violet candies ever again.

Just type in 'Top of the Pops'. You'll probably find them both on the second page of hits. If you don't, let me know.
I shall look for them as soon as I watch Waiting for the Night Boat about a billion more times. Because Simon Le Bon doing the Queen Mab speech is ... *fangirlgoboom*
I may be in love with this mental picture. Maybe.
well, maybe the person has always loved the song (not as much as Save a Prayer, but damn near) and maybe the person NEVER thought that she'd see it live (I don't think they've played it live since the 80's).
And there may have been a moment when she heard the duh duh DUH duh duh DUH where she froze in disbelief, then turned to the other mega fan and said "NO" and the other said "YES". And then maybe the screaming/crying started (complete with disgusted looks at the people who claimed to be fans who didn't know the song) And the person was not in her 30s at the time. of course not.
This just made my month; I found Lene Lovich performing 'Lucky Number'. [link]
It's a good quality copy too. I suspect it's taken from the restrospective TotPs they were screening the the UK.
