Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Ladies and Gentlemen I submit for your approval the most iconic 80s video.
I apparently missed the 80s. I remember MTV starting, and watching it. But I don't remember much of the music. There may be brain cell damage to blame here.

You didn't miss much, babe.
::hugs Laura because she doesn't do that often enough, and she knows Laura is stressed and worried::
Is that record shop near the hellmouth?
Woo! Deena, you are, as always, my Cleveland Contact for Research Perfection!
(Seriously: I chose Cleveland for this section of the story I'm working on because you made me feel like I knew the place last time I begged for Cleveland info.)
Jilli, if you're about, insent.
I love The Fixx one because it has the extreme emphasis on the pretty-boy lead singer (who just happens to also be a tortured painter) I think the only time we see the rest of the band they are outside a window. We've got disembodied hands coming out of the paint and the canvas. There's the wind-blown lady in red. There's the cocktail party of interesting people. It's a cliche-rama.
How can any '80s video be iconic if it doesn't have monkeys and little people in it? [link]
