Yeah, but that whole video style got run into the ground almost immediately.
Didn't Lou Reed start that? I know that INXS did it as well, pretty far apart as I recall. Right Now was 1991, and Mediate was 1987.
'Ariel'
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Like adding -ann on the end of everyone's name or like the Duggar's J babies?
Making the kids names all rhyme, same first initial, "Hey, our last name's Carr! Let's name one of the kids Race, then one of the other kids Ford, and--" or, my favorite, "Well, everyone was doing Kaylee and Kylie or everything beginning S's, so we decided to spell out the letters of our last name." Their name is Johnson. Last I heard they were up to the N and cheerfully planning on filling out the rest.
Dylan is so cute!
Excuse me, Connie, I have to go gag at your story, now. Not because it came from you, right? I totally second your "gotta get out of this place" emotion. For both of us, you know.ETA: Totally Not Just You.

I seem to recall Bob Dylan doing it in the 70's...
May I just comment, in regard to toddlers, that from what I've seen it might be a good idea not to put kids in Crocs until they're steady on their feet.
still less than the 5th percentile for height and weight and 50th for head pumpkinosity
Aren't those, like, Lillian proportions? YOU'RE GROWING A BUFFISTA!

maybe I'm confusing Bob Dylan and Lou Reed. Absolutely possible.
My comment about Crocs for toddlers was more along the line of not giving them an opportunity to fall more than they do - saw some little ones staggering around in Crocs (with the back strap flipped up over the arch, of course) having to deal with the whole learning to walk on two feet plus keep the silly things on their feet.
