JZ reports on Matilda's 9 month checkup:

Her official stats are: 15 lbs 2 oz, 26 inches, 44 cm head circumference -- still less than the 5th percentile for height and weight and 50th for head pumpkinosity, but Dr. Uba said she's growing perfectly along her own curve and we are officially not to worry.

No shots today, and none until October. Yay!

She's wee and she has a big noggin. It's kind of amazing she can stand up at all.

Around here, babies are something to be checked off the celestial To Do list, with points for how many you can manage to acquire, extra points if you put together a clever naming pattern for your particular set. With Buffistas, babies are individual bundles of wonder and joy, each one precious and a person in their own right.

I need to get out of this state. And if I had a secure line on a good job and housing and wasn't taking Hubby away from a medical network that knows him and his foibles, I'd do it.
