OK, but are you going to have cabinets in your kitchen?
Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
oh, yes, I have plenty of cabinets.
Well, that's all right. I was having this image of you moving into a place with lots and lots of space in the kitchen, but no cabinets. Gotta have a place for STUFF.
And it doesn't affect your plans for making the dining room an office/bedroom, right? But still, windows!! We like extra windows! Dang. Money is good too though.
Windows are good, but so is wallspace. If they left out the window above the sink, though, it's grounds for extreme action.

Yay Vortex!
Oh Cashmere, I'm sorry.
Cindy, I may send you mail later today, once things settle down a bit around here. I want to ask you some questions.
Jilli, I have a link that the Lady of the Manners might want to address in a future GCS column: [link] -- specifically, the caption for the Brunkrissla quilt cover
gnnng. Guess what I'm going to write about this week? Thank you for the link, Steph. And thank you for the letter you wrote, Aimee.
Mmmm, music videos. When I get some time, I need to check and see if the full-length video for my favorite Duran Duran video of all time: "Nightboat". It was something like 20 minutes long, and involved zombies.
Yay on homeowning Vortex! Cash is good.
My brain is all hurty. I have a final project due for my class tomorrow and it's a cool project, but I've been putting a lot of time/effort into it. We have to design a communications course (syllabus, schedule, required readings, projects, the whole shebang). I'm designing an Intro. to Theatre class for high school students. My syllabus is 20 pages right now (that includes a detailed description of the final project) plus annotated bibliography.
And thank you for the letter you wrote, Aimee.
You are most welcome. I hope you don't mind my blatant plagairism of you with the "whimsical of macabre" line.
I think any discussion of '80s videos should mention Duran Duran's "Wild Boys." IIRC it was the most expensive video to date ($500,000?) and sorta' put an end to the trend of ever-more-expensive videos. Then there's this factoid:
Did u know ythat LeBon nearly died filming this video when he's on the wheel it got jammed while his was underwater and he nearly drowned

edit to be what I wanted to say....
eta: I remember MTV hyping the fuck out of this video before the "World Premier."
Morning, All!
It's Ackles Overload! I'm so intrigued by this! Whee!
Heh. It's Dean/Joshua.
Probably best to Not Ask.
But Alec & Joshua got on quite well, I'm still intri...literally just this instant interpreted the slash as, well, slash. So. NOT. Asking.
Aw Geez, Cash. That blows. Best of luck with recovery/replacement.
Yay Vortex! Go team homeowning! I'll just be here in the corner cheering and envying all y'all, 'cause I'm never making the team.
And yay ND for getting Nickelodeon all chuffed with you in your first couple of hours!
I have to go with the person way upthread (dcp?) who said Take On Me. How much more iconic could a video get? None. None more iconic. And none more lovely.
::points upward, nodding:: What JZ said.
ION Got through my first "week" of my Summer class. Turned in all assignments, finished all quizzes. Missed one point on one assignment, one point on one quiz that I don't dispute - but I missed two points on another quiz, one point of which was due to a poorly worded question. I'm torn between going through the extra effort to dispute it or let it go. I'm leaning toward let it go, only one person scored higher than me - but it just grates, y'know? Clarity! Is it so much to ask?
Of course, my sigh of relief for finishing first "week" is keeping me from remembering that I need to get cracking on this "week"'s assignments.
