Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

Happy Birthday, TEPPY!

Yeah, that's neat.

Always Anti-fascist!

Well, it happens a lot in this neighborhood as does finding abandoned stolen cars. So we're not quite "The Jobs" but a break or two would not come amiss. OTOH, if we don't get it back, we don't have to know why the engine light is on.

ETA: Police just called...they found it already. Wish us car-ma.Mom says the cop who took the complaint reminded her of ita. "Not in looks, but she was just bad to the bone and you'd have to be crazy to fuck with her." (Mom has been an ita fan since the 'fending off knived assailant' test as Mom has a phobia about being stabbed. So anyone who can do that impressed mom to death. Um, so to speak.)

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Ugh. First car I had stolen was in Phoenix and the cops were so ... "yeah, so, whatever" about it. It was depressing when they found it too. I was ready just to have it gone by then instead of beat to hell and busted up. I am sorry, erika.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy birthday, Tepalicious!!!

~ma to Anne's stepfather and family. And {{Anne}} waiting for news is so hard.

erika, I'm glad they found the truck already. I hope it's in good condition.

Well, hopefully it will help that it was low on gas. Never thought that'd be a good thing, but...

to make me happy today we bought a butterfly bush plant and a new lavender plant - the kind with a greater level of stink. It is also Les Barker [link] night. His poetry is fun.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I had this in the posting box and had to rush away and forgot to hit "post."

No need for trappings! H traps, maybe. Although we wanted to eat out the other night and the first place both of us thought of was the Greek restaurant in Bellingham.

Anne, all best possible thoughts for your stepdad, your mom, and you.

Laura, that husband of yours is a grand fellow. I hope Bob continues to improve, and I'm sorry you're missing your nephew's graduation.

Best of luck, Emily, knock 'em dead!

Now that I'm back, erika, I'm so sorry about the truck--but I'm hopeful it's in the same shape as when it was taken.

And Emmett just continues to charm.
