I said I'm sorry. I've made mistakes, but fear was never one of them.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

lib! Are you better? I'm taking allergy meds and feeling mostly recovered except for the cough

I'm so glad to hear you're doing better, AmyLiz! I'm better from the main cold/bronchitis thing, but it seems to have turned into asthma, or maybe pneumonia (waiting on the results from the chest x-ray). I got Advair (the purple spaceship, as Cass puts it), which helps some. Went to my doctor yesterday and was told to go home. I keep thinking I'm better when sitting at my computer or lying on the couch, but then have hacking fits if I try to do anything. I don't even smoke, although I imagine the weight and the allergies don't help.

Poor baby. I've got the hacking fits, too, but they're not dry and uncomfortable, just bothersome. Cough drops and water usually do the trick. Get better!

Thanks, AmyLiz.

On the bright side, I saw all of S1 of The Wire, a bunch of Due South, and a little Six Feet Under, and am starting to be unfuzzy enough to get some reading done.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

I love that wacky purple spaceship. It's both amusing and a nifty drug delivery device.

- Not obviously crazy/psychotic.
I like the "obviously" in this item the most.

Why isn't everyone pelting me with JOY, dammit? - Zenkitty

Happy (preemptive) Birthday, Epic!!!

Thank You!!

I may even start blaming Juneau.

I encourage this. It works well for me.

Okay. I hit snooze about three times this morning. Stupid Juneau making me late!

Have I told you guys the checklist my pseudo-sibling used when he decided he needed to work on setting Pete and I up? I must have.

Very cool, and seems to have worked out nicely!

Do tell, Jilli! Sounds way more fun than the powerpoint I used to try to make my roommates break up...

This sounds intriguing (Just had to double-check spelling on that. Weird.) from here. I fear from where you were it might have been upsettingly intervention-y.

So, erm, it seems I've just been offered another job. I'm not quite sure what to do with all this.

Awesome! Yay on schools who recognize the Brilliance of you!

Well, yes. And sadly, it didn't work. (They hooked up. Then told me they hadn't. Then promised they wouldn't. Then did. Mind you, one of them had a girlfriend, and the other had just broken up with hers (who then called us, and tried to kill herself over the phone, and we had to have the cops bust down her door). I lived with both of them, and didn't want to deal with the drama and inevitable breakup. Which happened EXACTLY LIKE I THOUGHT.

Of course, at the end of the lease, two fo us moved out. The third one started dating one of her NEW roommates.

And then two years later, started dating the old roommate AGAIN.

These days, *I* still talk to all three of them, but they do not speak to each other.

YAYS for ChiKat! ChiKat, I had three job offers for the last three jobs I've had. It's very stressful, but kind of feels nice. Gives you some confidence on top of choices.

In mememe news, I'm exhausted and could use some Bitch snuggling.
