Does this mean Julia had a tetanus shot in the past? Either way, I'd agree with Ginger.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?
[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.
Ouch, poor Julia! It sounds like you're already doing it right and wait-and-watch is a good strategy.
Isn't it amazing that people actually find a way to have more than one child?
My two younger brothers are 13 months apart. I can't begin to imagine how that happens -- well, obviously, I know how it happens, but after last night I can't figure out how it happens accidentally. The one single time last night took such a ridiculous amount of forethought and strategizing and reconfiguration of battle plans with one failure after another; I can't imagine how anyone could have both an infant and spontaneous, spur-of-the-moment sex.
((((Julia)))) I got a tetanus shot when I was about 11 or 12, but that was because I got scratched by a rusty barb on a rusty barb wire fence. Julia's injury sounds totally different.
Yay, Legion!
Belated Happy Birthday, askye!
And on behalf of all of us, thank you for the sympathies with Teddy. The hospital sent him home yesterday after his potassium had stabilized and his creatine came down (but still well above normal). He's on several medications and appears to be getting the hang of taking pills. At least, I hope so, because Hubs is going out of town tomorrow morning for business -- so I get to do the medication thing alone all week.
We also started looking at pet cemeteries yesterday. Because even if Teddy gets the miracle, we've realized we won't have him forever. Unfortunately, there seems to be only one in Fairfax County (Noah's Ark, in Falls Church), and their office hours are 10 to 4, Monday through Friday. So I'll be doing advance work during my time off this week.
Teddy is back at the vet tomorrow night for a follow-up.
Hugs to FredPete and Hubs. Facing a beloved pet's decline is one of the most painful experiences in the world. I am so sorry.
Cindy, I don't think the ER is necessary, but I would put a call in to the pediatrician tomorrow to make sure her tetanus is current enough. Sometimes they like to give a follow-up just in case.
Oh JZ, what a night! I am so sorry! I hope Matilda starts sleeping through the night soon.

Happy Dad's Day to all boys what sprogged.
Why yes, I've had a similar accident. Why do you ask?Ginger is wise in this. And me, apparently, because yeah, I've done that. And the call to just doublecheck on the tetanus status is a good idea.
