Hugs to FredPete and Hubs. Facing a beloved pet's decline is one of the most painful experiences in the world. I am so sorry.
Cindy, I don't think the ER is necessary, but I would put a call in to the pediatrician tomorrow to make sure her tetanus is current enough. Sometimes they like to give a follow-up just in case.
Oh JZ, what a night! I am so sorry! I hope Matilda starts sleeping through the night soon.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, CASSALICIOUS!
HAPPY FATHER'S DAY, BUFFISTA DADS!
ETA: This may be my favorite lolcat ever. I share it with all of you to bring in the happy.
Thank you for the birthday happies, I am very lucky to have such wonderful people in my life.
Happy Dad's Day to all boys what sprogged.
Why yes, I've had a similar accident. Why do you ask?
Ginger is wise in this. And me, apparently, because yeah, I've done that. And the call to just doublecheck on the tetanus status is a good idea.

Ha!
favorite lolcat ever.
Before I clicked the link I was thinking, "o we should all post links to our favorites!" But after I clicked the link I saw you already had. The expression on that kitteh's face is the apotheosis of cute.
Many Happy Returns of Cassie Day!
Happy Birthday, Cass! May there be many candles.
Happy Father's Day to the Dads.
{{Fred & Hubs}} Continued vibes for strength as you go through this difficult time.
Clicky fire!
Best birthday ever? ;)
Cindy, I think you've gotten good advice. I'd just watch it till tomorrow. No, actually, I'd fret and end up paging the doctor to have her calm me down, then need an Ativan so I could nap from all the working up I did. Then I'd watch it till Monday.
{{{Fred Pete and Hubs}}}. I'm glad Teddy's back home, though.
Happy birthday, Cass! May there be many race cars!
Happy Birthday, Cass!
Stephanie, to answer your question from Beaur. . b. uh, that thread where we don't natter. Yes, Lifetime has a show about people whose spouses are in the army. One of whom is played by the woman who played Wes' ex Virginia on Angel. Another is played by the man who was Gordon the Hunter on SPN. I really hadn't intended to watch it (there was a certain Watch From the Hall quality to the promos) but I happened upon a repeat one afternoon and now I do watch it. It's on Sunday nights at 10 Eastern/9 Central.
This morning while I was thinking about hitting the road to get to the grocery store I heard a ginormous crash! From the kitchen. Thinking that a feline may have knocked something important off a counter I went in. That is so not what happened.
No, I have lived in this apartment for almost 11 years. There was this shelf - it hung about 18 inches from the ceiling and the stuff I kept on it was stuff like vases, decorative cookie jars - cute but not in daily use. Well, this morning, w/o any provocation of which I am aware, that damned thing fell off the wall. Breaking all crockery and leaving a ginormous mess. I took care of as much of it as I could before I had to leave but. . . sheesh - what could make something like that happen?
