Poor sick kitties!
Today is my short day at work and so far, I've only managed to return phone calls and make myself disproportionally angry at some clients.
Thank god today is an early day and (though I love her) boss is out of town so no staff meeting.
I'm so sorry, Fred. Teddy is one loved kitty.
I've been having a lot of trouble getting fluids into my cat lately. I don't think she's had a full dose in over a month. She is getting so skinny that it's hard to stick her. It either
goes under the skin and back out the other side or goes too deep (poor kitty).
I fear the end is near but I don't want to take her to the vet to find out. I figure I'll watch her and keep trying.
It's Ghostbusters you sillyhead.
Oh, dur. Yes.
(In my defense, that was a very long time ago.)
(Ah, sod that. Mock me all you want. I've successfully potty trained 3 humans.)
(Two of them? Male.)
(Bow before me, lesser beings.)
Oh Fred Pete, I'm so sorry. You love Teddy, so.
Gloomcookie, I hope things sort out with your kitty.

Man, a brackety beginning of the day. I already have my 40 hours in for the week, and yet here I am. Thank gosh for overtime pay.
Let's see, this time last week I was done with work and headed off to see Beej.
I just came home to a destroyed tea kettle and blue enamel baked on to one of the burners. There's a message from TCG saying he needs to tell me about his coffee making experience this morning, but he's not answering the phone.

Hee.
ETA: I'm sorry about the kettle. But the immediate reaction to the message could only be, "Yes. Yes I see that."
Much -ma to Fred and GC. Pets being sick sucks.
I know I feel much more prepared for pregnancy and parenting than I otherwise would.
I will admit, though, that there are times that I want to start a little club of the non-married, non-sprogged 'istas, just to get together once a month and say, "Everyone else still single and not-pregnant? Not just me? Okay." But that's likely as much a reaction to the "Oh My God, my entire high school graduating class is married and at least trying to reproduce!" thing.
In semi-related (or, at least, contrasting) news, I bought a new corset last Sunday. More of a Renaissance style (appropriate, as I was at a Ren Fest), but it has sufficient architecture that I am not so worried about boobular containment issues (yay!). And I so can't find any similar pictures on the web. Um, it's fairly short, but it has the extended busk in the front. And...hmmm...it's green...
