Well, a gathering is brie, mellow song stylings; shindig, dip, less mellow song stylings, perhaps a large amount of malt beverage, and hootenanny, well, it's chock full of hoot, just a little bit of nanny.

Spike's Bitches 36: Did I Sully Our Good Name?

[NAFDA] Spike-centric discussion. Lusty, lewd (only occasionally crude), risque (and frisque), bawdy (Oh, lawdy!), flirty ('cuz we're purty), raunchy talk inside. Caveat lector.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

My stuff is conspiring against me. I keep putting things in boxes and then it seems like more stuff is appearing.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yay, Kristin!

sj, some of my stuff is multiplying, even as I write, in a big box behind me. Listen, you can hear it rustling and muttering darkly. It plans to never ever let me get through clearing out all the clutter. It is self-perpetuating clutter.

At least it's not just me. TCG is still at his meeting, which is running late tonight of all nights. The movers will be here is less than 10 hours, and I am quickly approaching a mini-meltdown.

How much have you still to pack, sj?

Mostly just little odds and ends which seem to be everywhere. I'm trying to pile most of them up on the kitchen counter, so we can get to them later and they won't get in the way of the movers. I think I'm mainly freaked that TCG isn't home yet. I expected his meeting would end by eight and he would be able to pile some of the extra stuff in the car for me. I have no idea why he's not home yet.

I hope he gets home soon, sj, and that the remainder of the packing and moving goes smoothly.

I finally gave up and went to the doctor today. I don't think I've ever gotten as many samples at a doctor's office before. Fortunately, they included codeine syrup.

How are you, AmyLiz? Any improvement yet?

Because books.

Yay, Sox! So happy for you and the family! (And for me, with the promise of a cool sort-of neighbor in the near future.)

How are you, AmyLiz? Any improvement yet?

Not a bit. I should have called the doctor today myself, but I hate to take an antibiotic unless I'm convinced it's an infection, and I don't have a fever. Not a sure indicator, I know, but it's my rule of thumb. My head feels like an overripe melon.

I am also way jealous of your codeine.

Ugh. Illness makes me stupid. I'm so sorry about the packing/moving panic, sj. I wish I could help.
